This past Sunday, we were reminded that Jesus is the Son of God who steps into moments we label as final and proves that death, loss, and despair never have the last word. In the face of what seemed irreversible, He spoke with sovereign authority and called life out of death, revealing that His word is not merely comforting but commanding, not merely sympathetic but powerful. His delay was not denial, and His purposes were not thwarted by human limitation; instead, He was orchestrating a greater revelation of His glory and a deeper faith in His people. Because He is the resurrection and the life, our response is not surrender to despair but steady trust. We are called to obey before we fully understand, to roll away the stones He commands us to move, and to live now with the boldness and hope of those who already share in His resurrection power.
