Because Jesus lives in us by his Spirit, we are never alone, always loved, and fully known.

“And I will ask the Father, and he will give you another Counselor to be with you forever” (John 14:16).

Jesus’ goodbye didn’t shrink his glory. It multiplied it through the work we do and the prayers we pray in his name.

Philip didn’t need more time with Jesus. He’d already had three years—eating, walking, watching him work. What he needed wasn’t more; it was to stop waiting for something else and receive what was already standing in front of him.

Our hope is not in knowing everything ahead of us, but in knowing Jesus—the only way to the Father and our eternal home.

Our hope rests not in the promises we make to Jesus, but in the promises Jesus makes to us.
